The following warranty covers every Ciluzzi guitar to the original owner for a period of ten (10) years:

CILUZZI GUITARS

This Ciluzzi Guitar is warranted by Ciluzzi Guitars to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, subject to limitations contained in this warranty, for a period of ten (10) years.  This warranty is extended to the original owner only, is effective only in the United States of America and only to US citizens and permanent residents, and is not transferable to subsequent owners.  

*Every guitar must be registered with Ciluzzi Guitars by its original owner.

If at any time this Ciluzzi Guitar malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, Ciluzzi Guitars will repair or replace the instrument at its sole option.

The following conditions are specifically excluded from- and effectively void- the warranty:

1. Any unauthorized modifications or alterations made to the guitar;

2. Any asserted damage or defects caused by misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance, or improper use or unauthorized repair;

3. Any asserted damage or defects caused by extremes of temperature, humidity, or exposure to any meteorological phenomena, including but not limited to: floods; rain, snow, or other precipitation; or prolonged exposure to extreme altitudes or sunlight;

3a. Any damage caused by leaving said Ciluzzi guitar in a hot car or other environment (*Any guitar left in areas with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees for even a short period of time will cause certain glues to soften and threaten the structural integrity of your instrument, and any such damage will be immediately obvious upon inspection by authorized Ciluzzi Guitar representative);

3b. Any damage caused by negligence to maintain proper humidity levels inside said Ciluzzi Guitar (*All solid hardwoods are used in the construction of a Ciluzzi Guitar [unlike the “hardwood laminates" – i.e. plywood – used in many mass-produced factory-built instruments], and as such require basic maintenance to be performed, as with all fine instruments, that consists only of keeping an inexpensive, manually refillable “guitar humidifier” in the guitar case or during storage, especially during the winter months in cold climates when domestic heating systems tend to dry out the air. Without performing this simple maintenance on a regular basis, any solid hardwood acoustic guitar will eventually dry out and crack);

4. Normal wear and tear, tonal characteristics, breakage or wear of frets, worn machine heads, or finish damage caused by extreme cold, climate change, or contact with plastics or solvents;

5. Any asserted defects involving personal disikes or judgements.

LIMITATION ON OBLIGATIONS: The obligations of Ciluzzi Guitars are limited to repair or replacement of parts of the Ciluzzi Guitar found to be defective upon inspection by authorized Ciluzzi Guitars representative under this limited warranty. In no event shall Ciluzzi Guitars be liable for any indirect, indirect or consequential damages, included but not limited to lost wages, profits, or time, or any nature of damages to or loss of property.

Should you require warranty service for your Ciluzzi Guitar, you should contact Ciluzzi Guitars. We will then authorize you to return the guitar to us, or to a repairperson in your area, at our sole option.  No warranty work may be done without such authorization, and work done without authorization may void your warranty.

If your guitar is sent to us, we will notify you of the work to be done and an approximate date of completion.  If additional non-warranty work is indicated we will advise you.  It is not necessary to purchase non-warranty work to obtain service or materials covered by this warranty.  The owner is responsible for any shipping charges incurred, including excess value and shipping insurance.  In the event of unexpected loss by fire, theft, or damage to your instrument while at Ciluzzi Guitars, our responsibility shall be limited to replacement with a new instrument of the same or most similar available style.  

No representative or other person is authorized to assume for Ciluzzi Guitars, any liability except as stated in this warranty.  Ciluzzi Guitars, makes no other express warranty of any kind whatsoever.  All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, exceeding the duration of this warranty are hereby disclaimed and excluded from this warranty.  Ciluzzi Guitars, disclaims liability for any incidental or consequential damages.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, AND SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
